About us

We support the way,
children learn

School To Go was developed by trained elementary school teachers with one purpose: to make learning accessible and motivating for all children, regardless of when they need it.

All subjects and grade levels

Our mission

All children deserve access to qualified teaching and homework support.

We make teaching from qualified teachers accessible whenever and wherever the child needs it – at school, at home, or on the go. So more children can get academic support and learn at their own pace.

Teacher-developed content

Every lesson is designed by qualified teachers and follows the national curriculum and required topics leading up to the primary school exams.

Independent of time and place

Lessons stream directly to your child's smartphone or tablet – at home, in class, or on the go. 24/7 access.

Space for your needs

We meet your child where they are academically, whatever their needs. Whether your child is gifted, behind academically, has a lot of absences, or needs support, you can access the grade levels that fit your needs.

The story

It started with one student

The idea for School To Go began in a classroom with a student with ADHD. A student with lots of potential, curiosity and ability to learn, but who needed more peace, structure and the opportunity to take lessons at his own pace.

It was the beginning of a bigger idea. Because children are different. Some learn quickly, some need repetition, some learn best by listening, and others need more time or a different framework. What they have in common is that they can and will learn when the teaching meets them in a way that suits them.

Through work in special schools, public schools, private schools and international schools, that idea only grew stronger. Students are brave, curious and capable of much more than we sometimes realize. They should be given the opportunity to delve deeper, try again, learn new things and develop at their own pace.

School To Go was created to make that opportunity more accessible. By combining teaching expertise with technology, education can follow the child and be available both at school, at home and on the go.

Today, School To Go offers education across subjects and grade levels, but the idea is still the same as at the beginning: At give flere børn adgang til kvalificeret undervisning og mulighed for at lære på den måde, der passer dem bedst.

Why School To Go

Your own digital tutor

What is it?

1. Listen to a 20-minute lesson

Choose subject and grade level, and listen to short lessons developed by Danish teachers. Listen at home, at school, or on the go.

How does it work?

2. Do exercises & take the quiz

Work through the lesson's exercises, and finish with a quiz that tests what you've learned.

Why is it unique?

3. Track your progress

See your results and progress in your learning profile, and continue to the next lesson when you're ready.

Meet the founder

All children should have more equal access to teaching and homework support

My name is Anne-Sophie Elmo, and I am the creator of School To Go. I am a qualified primary school teacher and project manager and have worked with learning in many formats since 2014. Previously, I have worked in various schools, including primary schools, private schools, special schools and international schools. In addition, I have worked with learning technology as a focus through private companies.

School To Go was created at the intersection of teacher professionalism, technology and project development. The basic idea is that qualified education should be more easily accessible to all children, regardless of where and how they learn.

"I wanted to multiply my skills, so more children could get the help they needed at the same time — without so-called bottlenecks and waiting times."

Together with a team of specialists, Anne-Sophie has developed School To Go into a platform where teacher-developed lessons can be used flexibly at school, at home, and on the go.

Behind School To Go is also a strong belief that children are capable of more than they think. When they are given the opportunity to learn, repeat and develop at their own pace, academic progress can also help strengthen their belief in their own abilities.

The academic foundation.

Based on pedagogical theory

School To Go is developed by trained teachers and is based on recognized pedagogical principles and practical teaching experience.

Zone of proximal development

Lev Vygotsky

Based on Vygotsky's theory of the zone of proximal development, learning is structured so students can build on what they already know, with the right support for their next academic step.

Constructivist approach

Jean Piaget

Inspired by Piaget's constructivist view of learning, students actively build on their existing knowledge. That's why lessons are followed by exercises and quizzes where students continue working with the mates.

Bloom's Taxonomy

Benjamin Bloom

Based on Bloom's taxonomy, we work with different levels of learning – from remembering and understanding to applying, analysing, evaluating, and creating. This allows for both basic understanding.

National curriculum & required topics

Lessons are based on the national curriculum and required topics for primary school. Content covers core subject areas and is supplemented by subjects like Technology Understanding, Education & Careers, and jobs.
